You might be an artist who would like to introduce yourself and your work here or maybe you’re a business with a mission to describe.EDUCATION   MFA CLAREMONT Graduate University, Claremont California. 2004 BA California State University, Dominguez Hills California. 1983 University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. 1977-78 Co-operatiovo sculpture Studio in Pietrasanta Italy, 1984-86   TEACHING/MADEINLA DEVELOPMENT  Tours for of companies for MIT, Yale Cornell alumni, 2012- present, 2011 -Otis College of Art and Design 2006-2007 and 2011- 2013.     Classes taught currently: “Made in LA” and Hot Glass taught at Glass Factory off campus for Senior and Junior Product Design majors.   2011:  New “green” material development project with 3-Form (division of Hunter Douglas). Winning student design featured on company website and tour of 3-Form arranged.   2006 to 2007 Otis College of Art and Design, Interactive Product Design.  Did Project with Sonny and Gloria Kamm resulting in 6 students’ work purchased for $500 each for their Tea Pot Museum. Surface Magazine gave this project the  9th Annual Avant Garde student award for best in the US for Product Design in 2006.   2006-2007 Playa Vista, Marina Del Rey Laing Homes 5 students commissioned to do Public Art Works at $5,000 each.   2002 to 2008, Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California.               Full Time Faculty two years:  Model Construction1 & 2 (Required for Environmental, Transportation and Product Design majors) Materials of Art and Design (Required, Fine Art, Graphic, Illustration, Environmental, Photography)     Developed an Art Center “Transdisciplinary” studio class with Ten Thousand Villages, a fair trade non-profit.  Student work picked for manufacturing by Sri Lanka villagers and went into production.   Developed Art Center Kamm Tea Pot Project: entire class’ work purchased for Teapot Museum Collection; each student received $5000. 2004-2008 and 2011-present: “Made in LA”  Founder:    “Made in LA” classes initially were a manufacturing field studies program for  Graduate Industrial Design and Graduate Film Majors. Also offered through Art Center at Night and Otis, field studies to over 80 local manufacturers.  “Made in LA” classes were attended by students

from Caltech, USC, UCLA and SCI Arch as well as Art Center and Otis. Specific special events with other partners included:    2006-2008 “ Made in LA” event  in collaboration with “Debbie’s Book”  for entertainment industry  tours of MGM, prop houses and builders, special effects, sets and wardrobe.    2007: Set up and guided tours to local manufacturers with Entretech Pasadena business group.   2006-2007  Ed Justice Radio Show for Road and Track (2 million listeners) partnered for special visits to Parnelli Jones and the Peterson Automotive Museum.   2004-2006 Set up travel classes to Pietrasanta Italy for stone carving, to Indochina for factory tours, and to Walla Walla Washington for monumental bronze casting.   2006 Art Center College of Design and Entretech collaboration with Jeff Smith (CEO of Lunar Design)  set up factory tour to IdeaLab.   2008 Getty Museum assisted in organizing and set up stone carving, and bronze casting workshops off site at bronze factory, set up outside foundry connection for casting, in conjunction with French Bronze show from the Metropolitan and Louvre Museums.   2005 Armory Center, Pasadena, California. Stone Carving class created and taught class.   1989 California State Dominguez Hills, Stone Carving.   MATERIAL INNOVATIONS   2000 to present Agid Arts, Agid Glass, glass with micro-etched metals and chemical in Blown and fused glass. Ink Spots plastics process shown at Material Connexion in New York, Milan, Cologne, Munich and Bangkok, Johnson Controls and SteelCase.   Sample materials work done for Steelcase, Johnson Controls, BMW, Nissan, Clinique, Reebok, Gensler and Sun Micro Systems and many others.   2009-2010 Lighting fixtures with my plastics material innovation shown at the hospitality show in Las Vegas.   Furniture designs for indoor outdoors shown at High Point, Chicago shows.    PUBLIC ART   San Francisco 49ers: Marble portrait wall plaque, for training facility in Santa Clara CA.   Debartolo Corporation, Marble portrait Edward J. De Bartolo, Youngstown OH.   Financial Marketing Services: Santa Monica, world maps in various stones.

Assistant to the Producer and co ran marketing of books and products. Guest: Gene Roddenberry, Norman Cousins, Brug Joy, Ray Bradbury,  Timothy Leary, Buckminster Fuller and others.   1981 ABC, Alan Landsberg Productions with Sherman Grindberg: Catastrophe No Safe Place: Charles Bronson. Research and still photography used as set.   1980 NBC, David Wolper: Small World.
